Meadows in the High Moor
I Pozzi
A very scenic circular walk that leads to the green meadows in the high moor "I Pozzi". On this tour you hike to the "witch forest" and to the crystal clear streams in the high valley at the foot of Monte Rinosu. Even children have fun. Directions: Drive via Aléria - Ghisoni. Start: Col de Verde, below the parking lot at the "Refuge". Go westbound: GR20 / "E Capanelle".
Duration: 5 hours, 500 meters in altitude.

Cascades des Anglais
Beautiful beech forests and refreshing cascades in Corsica form the backdrop for this beautiful forest hike. Suitable for families. Duration: 1.30 hours round trip, about 200 meters in altitude. Directions via Aléria - Venaco. Start and end at the train station of Vizzavona. (TOP: a wonderful trip also with train journey from and to Corte!).

Magnificent View
Sentier Botanique
Botanical circular route "Sentier Botanique" (easy): Suitable for families, mostly shady and beautiful views of the sea. Drive via Moriani Plage. Start: San Giovanni di Moriani, in the parking lot at the church.
Duration: 2 hours - 230 meters in altitude. Approach approx. 45 min.
Castagniccia
Monte San Petrone
The signposted hiking trail starts between the houses on the pass summit and leads through pine forests and beech forests. The mostly gentle ascent becomes steeper and steeper until it ends in an easy climb. After the climb a magnificent panoramic view opens up to the east coast. Approach from Corsicana approx. 1 hour via Moriani, Folelli to the "Col de Prato".

Belvedere de Cervione
The trail starts in the centre of the village, at the end of the main road (Ri Piedicroce on the left) near the cafés (parking by the road). We take a small street ascending to the right and immediately turn left again. Follow the signs for "A Scubiccia". After half an hour on the track, at a sharp right bend, we follow a clearly marked path to the left and soon reach the viewing cross. Follow the slightly overgrown path uphill to Pointe de Nevera and on to the chapel of A Madonna (a Scupiccia). From here we follow the track that takes us back to our starting point. Approach from Corsicana to Cervione approx. 20 min. via Alistro

Fairytale landscape
Manganello Valley
Follow the orange marked gravel road through a chestnut and pine forest. After 15 minutes we already reach the Manganello brook with its beautiful little lakes. After 1 1/2 hours we reach the Bergerie de Tolla, where we can take a break (drinks, snacks, cheese). A wonderful high valley follows. After another 45 minutes we stand in front of one of the most beautiful cascade series of Corsica. Approach from Corsicana approx. 1 hour via Aleria, Venaco, Vizzavona to Canaglia. Park your car at the beginning of the village.
Duration: 4.5 hours - 300 meters altitude difference. Level: Easy
